Do you have pets?

Yes, we have a beautiful black labrador named Frannie and a yellow tabby cat named Gus. They both are usually outside but never are allowed above the main floor. Since our pets are egomaniacs, we unfortunately cannot accommodate any other pets.

Can you recommend fun excursions we might take while in the area?

While visiting the Evergreen State, your plans really should include a visit to the beautiful San Juan Islands. It is just a 2-hour drive plus a 45 minute ferry ride to whole different world and our new private getaway. Nestled in the woods on Lopez Island, it is MacBarron House (pictured below). Thumbnail image - Cedar Ridge Guest CottageThis cozy treasure would be all yours: truly a relaxing, quality escape to enjoy. MacBarron House is situated at the South end of Lopez Island and from its full-length, covered deck, savor a sweeping view to MacKaye Harbor. The short trip from Seattle is perfect for putting you into the "island" frame of mind. <more info>

13.

Are your rooms air conditioned?

Unaided by air conditioning, this turn of the century home remains comfortable throughout the summer months. Western Washington's mild climate rewards us with an environment free of the noise produced by an air conditioning system.
