Juans. There you'll find McBarron House (pictured
at right). It is a lovely private getaway is nestled in the woods at the South end of Lopez Island and features a beautiful view of MacKaye Harbor. The short trip from Seattle is perfect for putting you into the "island" frame of mind. We can book your reservation for this very special destination.
- In the house you'll find handy information about shopping, restaurants, Vita's gourmet deli and Holly Bees Bakery, kayaks and bicycles for rent, and more exciting things.

WHERE:
Nestled in the woods on Lopez
Island. Lopez is one of the beautiful San
Juan Islands, a cluster of small islands considered by many
to be the Northwest's "Shangri La". The labyrinth of waterways
is home to eagles, sea otters and orca whales.
GETTING THERE:
From Seattle, it's a 2-hour drive to Anacortes. From there, you'll enjoy a 45 minute ferry ride through the beautiful waters of the San Juans to Lopez Island. Once on Lopez:
- Follow the ferry road for 2 miles
- Turn Left on Center Road (also marked Spencer Spit, School, MacKaye's Harbor)
- Follow Center Rd. to the "T" intersection (5.5 miles)
- Turn Left onto Mud Bay Road and continue 3 miles
- Turn Right onto MacKaye Harbor Road and continue 1 mile
- Turn Left onto Alek Bay Road and continue 1/2 mile
- Turn Left at McBarron Lane and proceed to 2nd house(green) on left at 109 McBarron Lane

RESERVING MCBARRON HOUSE:
- $160 (USD) per night (2 night minimum) plus $50 cleaning fee
- $900 (USD) weekly rate plus $100 cleaning fee

- A valid credit card is necessary for securing your reservation.
- It is essential that you clearly communicate your arrival time and ferry schedule to the innkeeper (ferry schedule).
